If you are reading this, I both apologize and welcome you. This is my EDUC 305 Portfolio where I will guide you through an experience of several essays covering Hamlet and The Tempest. I recommend starting with the introduction as it is an extended welcome and will explain the general idea of each essay. This journey that has been Literary Theory was both intense and fulfilling. Assuming I pass this class, I will have completed my English minor here at St. Norbert and will not take any more literature classes.

This is bittersweet for me. While I feel accomplished and relieved, English has always been my favorite subject and I will greatly miss reading fiction instead of complicated business cases. The English program at St. Norbert has brought me to this point and I am more comfortable than ever with my writing. This portfolio, I believe, is a diverse culmination of how I have progressed as a writer and gives my perspective on a variety of different topics.

I’d like to thank you for taking the time to read all of the work I have put into this. While it was a lot of writing, I truly do appreciate you taking the time to sift through all of my words. Enjoy!

(Below is a picture of my cat, Dan Ger, who was the ultimate driving force, giving me the energy to complete this portfolio).
